About Blinds Base
Built by a blinds business, for blinds businesses.
Most CRMs are built by people who have never measured a bay window, chased a fitter's fabric order, or explained to a customer why their quote changed after a re-measure. Blinds Base wasn't.
It started inside a real, working blinds and curtains business — the same day-to-day mess of paper job sheets, WhatsApp photos of window measurements, spreadsheets that only one person understood, and a dozen small systems that never quite talked to each other. Every feature in Blinds Base exists because that business genuinely needed it: a job sheet a fitter can fill out with no signal in a customer's basement. A pricing system that actually understands fabric books and blind types, not generic "products." A way to see instantly which jobs are stuck, which customers have gone quiet after a deposit, and which fabric orders are running late — without asking anyone.
That's still how Blinds Base gets built today. New features start as a real problem in a real business, get built and used there first, and only then become part of the platform every business on it can run on.
What that means for you
You're not adopting software that was designed for "trades businesses" in general and bolted onto blinds as an afterthought. Job types, fabric hierarchies, manufacturing routing, fitter capability restrictions — the vocabulary of the product is the vocabulary of your business, because it was built inside one just like it.
Where we're headed
Blinds Base is still young, and still built the same way: close to the businesses actually using it, shipping what they need rather than what looks good on a features list. If you run a blinds or curtains business and something about how you work isn't reflected here yet, that's exactly the kind of thing we want to hear about.
